The Schools’ Green Audit Awards are given by The Singapore Environment Council (SEC) to schools that participate in its "How Green is Your School" programme. This programme comes with a self-help manual, which assists schools in gauging its level of green-consciousness.

The Awards are given in recognition of the school’s effort in keeping the environment green. The Lotus Award means that the school shows a high-level of environmental concern and has participated in nationwide environment related competitions and carries out community related environment projects. The validity period is 1 year.
